Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot Microservices, Oracle ATG Commerce, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and PostgreSQL . The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the Retail/eCommerce domain and a proven track record of leading development teams, designing scalable solutions, and delivering high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of developers and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Own end-to-end design, development, deployment, and production support of Retail Commerce applications. Design and develop scalable Microservices-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot. Enhance and support Oracle ATG Commerce applications and integrations. Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and Business teams for successful project delivery. Conduct code reviews, technical design discussions, and provide architectural guidance. Work directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements and propose technical solutions. Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Estimation, Backlog Grooming, and Retrospectives. Drive continuous improvement through automation, process optimization, and DevOps best practices. Mandatory Skills 6+ years of software development experience. 3+ years of experience leading development teams. Strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot Microservices . Extensive experience with Oracle ATG Commerce development and customization. Strong experience in Retail Commerce/eCommerce domain. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architectures. Strong expertise in PostgreSQL database design, performance tuning, and optimization. Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and Distributed Systems . Hands-on experience with JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber . Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins/Bamboo, and ArgoCD . Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure Automation . Strong debugging, problem-solving, and code review skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
