The Software Technician Lead is responsible for overseeing software operations related to robotics data pipelines, system monitoring, and robotics software workflows. This role focuses on executing and maintaining robot software pipelines, debugging operational issues, managing datasets, and ensuring that robotics systems run reliably during data collection and testing.

The Software Technician Lead is responsible for overseeing software operations related to robotics data pipelines, system monitoring, and robotics software workflows. This role focuses on executing and maintaining robot software pipelines, debugging operational issues, managing datasets, and ensuring that robotics systems run reliably during data collection and testing. This role bridges the gap between robotics engineers and operational staff by ensuring software systems remain stable and that robotics data operations run efficiently.

Strong experience working in Linux environments Proficiency with Python scripting Experience with Bash scripting Familiarity with Git version control Experience using VSCode or similar development environments Comfortable working with SSH for remote systems Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills Ability to analyze logs and diagnose system failures Experience managing or supporting technical operations teams

Robotics Software Pipeline Execution Execute and monitor robotics software pipelines used during robot testing and data collection. Ensure scripts and automation tools run reliably across robotics systems. Identify and resolve failures in pipeline execution. Debugging & Troubleshooting Diagnose and debug script failures in robotics software workflows. Analyze logs and system outputs to determine root causes of issues. Work with engineering teams to escalate or resolve technical problems when necessary.

Data Collection Support Assist robotics teams during data collection sessions. Ensure software systems required for data capture are functioning correctly. Monitor system performance during active data collection.

Data Management & Uploading Manage datasets generated from robotics testing and camera systems. Upload and organize datasets within system storage and data pipelines. Ensure data is properly structured and stored for downstream processing.

Data Quality Assurance Perform quality checks on collected datasets. Verify data integrity and completeness before submission to downstream teams. Flag potential issues in data quality for further investigation.

System Monitoring Monitor robotics systems, logging infrastructure, and data pipelines. Detect and respond to system errors, failures, or abnormal behavior. Maintain operational visibility of robotics software systems.
