Job Location: Trichy, Tamilnadu We are looking for experienced person to technically lead the design and development of winding machines in our Trichy development centre. Job Responsibilities Conceptualize and create new designs Provide technical leadership to a team of mechanical design engineers Participate in design reviews. Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Coordination with project teams in Bangalore office Ensure that all design projects are delivered on time at required level of quality. Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities. Job Requirement Proven mechanical engineering experience in Special Purpose Machines, Automation Systems, Machine Tools Knowledge in selection of motors, gearboxes, drives, couplings Hands-on experience in usage of mechanical CAD tools such as Fusion360, AutoCAD, CATIA. Experience in usage of Fusion360 is an advantage Excellent communication skills Strong in design calculations Exposure to Finite Element Analysis Exposure to winding machine design will be an added advantage Exposure to design of optical metrology systems would be an added advantage Must be detail oriented with ability to get into nuts and bolts of the issues Strong team player Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
