AutoCAD Draftsman

Zeta 4 Water Solutions is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with strong expertise in Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems. The ideal candidate must have proficiency in 2D & 3D modeling and should be capable of developing and leading a dedicated drafting team of 3-5 professionals. This role requires a highly organized and technically sound individual who can create detailed designs, ensure precision in project drawings, and streamline the drafting process for smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities: - Drafting & Design (2D & 3D CAD) - Develop detailed 2D & 3D models for ETP, STP, and ZLD systems using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or equivalent software. - Prepare P&ID (Process & Instrumentation Diagrams), GA (General Arrangement) Drawings, and Fabrication Drawings. - Create layout plans, piping diagrams, structural drawings, and isometric views as per project requirements. - Ensure accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and alignment with client specifications. - Team Development & Management - Recruit, train, and lead a team of 3-5 draftsmen to support project execution. - Delegate tasks efficiently and ensure timely delivery of design & drawings. - Establish standardized drafting protocols to enhance productivity. - Conduct periodic training sessions to upskill the team on ETP/STP/ZLD design aspects and 3D modeling tools. - Coordination & Project Execution - Work closely with Project Engineers, Process Engineers, and Site Teams to ensure seamless execution. - Modify drawings based on site requirements, client feedback, and project specifications. - Collaborate with procurement and fabrication teams to ensure design feasibility and material optimization. - Manage document control and maintain updated drawing records for all projects. - Quality & Compliance - Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, IS, ISO, etc.) for wastewater treatment designs. - Conduct quality checks to verify design accuracy and identify potential issues. - Stay updated with new design trends, 3D modeling advancements, and industry best practices.
