Job Description About the team Brakes Application Software Developer. What you can look forward to as ASW Software Developer (Diagnostics): Master degree or equivalent experience in computer science, software engineering, or related field Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in development for a diagnostic software system in the automotive industry. Experience with vehicle diagnostics and its related tasks, e.g. fault-memory evaluation, actuator tests, parameterization, guided repair. Experience with usage of Vector tools like CanAlyzer, CAnoe, CANdela Studio Provide deep diagnostics expertise and hands-on support to guide product strategy and development, ensuring technical excellence and relevance. Your Profile as ASW Software Developer (Diagnostics): Minimum of 2-6 years of relevant experience in automotive diagnostics or vehicle systems. Proven track record in diagnostics product development or system integration; experience in the automotive aftermarket is a plus. Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics standards such as UDS, OBD-II, ODX, and OTX. Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, ECUs, and vehicle communication systems. Based on specifications of ECUs properties and behavior as well as specifications of the diagnostic tasks to be performed.
