About the Team
This position is part of ZF’s ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies.
The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME) is responsible for developing, optimizing, and industrializing manufacturing processes for new products and technologies.
What you can look forward to as a Test SW Developer AME (f/m/d):
Develop and maintain software for production test benches.
Contribute to test software architecture through requirements, modular design, integration, and validation.
Ensure software traceability, documentation, configuration management, and version control.
Collaborate with design, R&D, and manufacturing teams to ensure testability and robust software implementation.
Validate and optimize software‑based test solutions to improve coverage, reliability, and repeatability.
Support industrialization of test solutions, including debugging and continuous improvement.
Participate in software design reviews, failure analysis, and corrective actions.
Assist local teams through training, documentation, and technical coaching.
Benchmark tools and technologies for test software development across AME sites.
Your profile as a Test SW Developer AME (f/m/d):
Engineering degree in electronics, software engineering, industrial computing, telecommunications, or similar; or equivalent experience.
Strong experience in test software development (C, C#, Python, TestStand) and configuration management.
Ability to contribute to software architecture (requirements, modular design, integration, validation).
Knowledge of automated test systems and validation of test benches.
Experience with project coordination, specification writing, and supplier follow‑up.
Technical communication skills (documentation, training, user support).
Comfortable working in an international environment; willingness to travel.
Fluency in English.
