Software Development Manager

What you ll do Responsibilities: Reporting on team performance and project progress. Maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Implementing and maintaining best practice engineering methodologies. Providing technical guidance to engineering teams and leadership. Supporting established organizational objectives by developing goals and strategies for teams and individuals. Hiring and managing engineering staff. Excellent problem-solving, programming, and communication skills. Object-oriented mindset. Ability to work quickly and collaboratively in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Experience in owning small to large features from design to implementation. Defensive coding mindset with knowledge of OWASP. Passion for QA and DevOps with an understanding that testing is a shared responsibility. Experience in SQL, JSON, REST API, .Net Core, C#, JavaScript, relational DB concepts and design, Agile methodologies, and team building. Experience automating infrastructure and build processes. Experience with Microsoft Azure and event-driven (EDA) or service-oriented (SOA) architectures. Nice to have: Experience with Angular.js, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Azure Webjobs, App Services, and Service Bus.
