About the role
Role Overview: At Zipped Hospitality, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple Hotel and Resort development projects across India as a design-focused intern. This role goes beyond drafting as you will be directly involved in Back of the House (BOH) planning, zoning, and operational layouts. Based in the Pune District, this on-site role offers hands-on experience in hospitality design and planning. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare schematic drawings for Hotel BOH areas including Service & logistic, Kitchen & F&B Support, Laundry & Housekeeping, Staff Facilities, Engineering & MEP Interface, etc. - Assist in developing BOH zoning plans, flow diagrams, and circulation layouts - Translate operational requirements into functional layouts and space planning - Support in area program preparation and block planning - Work closely with senior consultants to align design with brand standards and operational efficiency Qualification Required: - Students / Freshers in Architecture / Interior Design / Hospitality Design - Strong interest in hotel planning, especially BOH and technical layouts - Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / SketchUp / layout planning tools - Understanding of space planning, circulation, and functional design - Detail-oriented and willing to learn real project workflows Additional Details: Zipped Hospitality Consulting Services, founded in 2018 by Sachin S.
