About the role
About the internship: Zipped Hospitality is a specialist hospitality consulting firm in India, offering end-to-end advisory services for hotel owners, developers, and investors. The company specializes in site analysis, hotel feasibility studies, hotel brand partnerships, branded residences, project planning and development advisory, pre-opening management, and hotel asset management across all segments of the hospitality industry. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Prepare schematic drawings for hotel Back of the House (BOH) areas, including service and logistics, kitchen and F&B support, laundry and housekeeping, staff facilities, and engineering and MEP interfaces. 2. Assist in developing BOH zoning plans, flow diagrams, and circulation layouts. 3. Translate operational requirements into functional layouts and efficient space planning. 4. Support the preparation of area programs and block planning for hospitality projects. 5. Collaborate with senior consultants to ensure designs align with brand standards and operational requirements. 6. Contribute to live hotel and resort development projects by assisting with hospitality planning and design activities. Students or freshers pursuing Architecture, Interior Design, Hospitality Design, or related disciplines. 2. Strong interest in hotel planning, particularly Back of the House (BOH) design and technical layouts. 3. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other layout planning tools. 4. Understanding of space planning, circulation, and functional design principles. 5. Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn through real-world hospitality projects. 6. Candidates based in Pune or those willing to work from the Pune office will be preferred.
