Lead Architect - E Commerce

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, prototype, test and implement solution improvements to increase stability, usability, and functionality to enable end users to meet business objectives. Work integrally with external service providers, and Business for implementation of SAP Commerce (Hybris) globally. Collaborate with representatives of other SAP functions to ensure end to end process integration and consistency. Review, analyze, and solution change requests to determine complexity and provide resource/cost estimates. Facilitate defining required policies and procedures and standards to maintain a global SAP Commerce Landscape. Work on Proof of Concepts (POCs) and provide the estimates for net enhancements. Work on providing Business as Usual support of SAP Commerce within the corporation which involves break fixes and change requests. Contribute to the global deployment of SAP Commerce. Develop, test, and implement SAP Commerce solution bug fixes and enhancements. Provide information to IT and Business leadership regarding best practices, industry trends and business opportunities, as well as feedback on the overall performance of processes and tools. Responsible for the production monitoring, problem resolution and peak season readiness activities for the Hybris modules. Identify and initiate process improvements (continuous improvement). Facilitate Unit tests, Integration tests, Regression tests, Performance tests and Disaster Recovery tests. Train and transfer knowledge to other team members, users and stakeholders as required. Define and implement Dev Ops procedure using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Sonar. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS ZTD, Business stakeholders, Vendors. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field is required. Experience: Overall, 10+ years of experience in SAP B2B Commerce, including a minimum of 4+ years as an SAP Commerce (Hybris) Architect. Proven track record of successfully implementing at least three full life cycles of SAP Commerce projects. Ability to work in a globally distributed environment. Good track-record of executing in a dynamic, team-based environment. Adept at understanding customer challenges, navigating from problem to resolution and communicating process and resolution effectively both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to interact comfortably with all levels of management and staff. Experience in life sciences/pharmaceuticals industry preferred. Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Certification in SAP Hybris Development is a plus. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Bring considerable technical, functional, and product expertise to deliver effective solutions to business. Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce components. Knowledge of incremental changes with last few SAP commerce platform upgrades. Assisted Services Module and B2B accelerator. Understanding of headless architecture with OCC V2. Cockpit usage and customization (Back Office Cockpit and other Cockpit). Good understanding of CDNs such as Akamai. PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Flexibility to work times with at least 4 hr. overlap with US EST Time. Full time
