Manager, SAP Project Mgt

Position Title: Project Manager – SAP Delivery Primary Purpose This position is responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation and enhancement of SAP ECC and S/4HANA projects originating from the Zoetis International Capability Center (ICC), Hyderabad. The role involves close collaboration with Global ERP Portfolio & Program Management and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all deliverables meet project timelines, resource budgets, and quality standards. The Project Manager will serve as a key liaison between business and technical teams, driving project planning, execution, and stakeholder communication. Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Execution Define project scope, create timelines, allocate resources, and drive execution to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget. Stakeholder and Team Management Lead cross-functional and technical teams while collaborating with business partners and external vendors. Foster alignment and transparent communication across stakeholders. Risk Management and Issue Resolution Identify project risks and establish mitigation strategies. Monitor progress and resolve issues efficiently to ensure continuous progress. Change Control and Quality Assurance Manage scope changes and maintain delivery quality through regular reviews and validation checkpoints. Knowledge and Documentation Management Ensure comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer practices are followed for long-term operational success. Position Responsibilities ResponsibilityPercent of TimeAdherence to SAP project management methodologies, standards, and best practices30%Work with stakeholders and business partners to align project design with business goals25%Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and project progress25%Apply knowledge of SAP systems and integrations to support effective project design and execution20% Organizational Relationships Collaborate with global and regional ERP/Non-ERP teams to assess project scope and define system designs Interface with Business Partners to gather requirements and provide regular project updates Coordinate work across module leads, external implementation partners, and internal teams Proactively communicate project risks and mitigation plans with leadership and relevant stakeholders Education and Experience Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Information Technology or related field PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred SAP Module certification is an added advantage Experience: 12+ years of experience in SAP, including at least 5 years in SAP Project Management Strong project delivery experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes Proven record of handling end-to-end implementations and large-scale migration projects Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in global delivery environments Technical Skills Requirements Strong grasp of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum) Experience with project tracking tools (JIRA, ServiceNow, MS Project) Understanding of SAP architecture including ECC, S/4HANA, and system landscapes Familiarity with data migration, SAP security and authorizations, and integration best practices Strong communication, risk management, and leadership skills Physical Position Requirements Work Hours: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM EST (ICC Second Shift) Location: Hyderabad, India Flexibility: Occasional weekend support and additional hours may be required during cutovers or production go-lives
