Job Title: ETL Data Engineer (Ab Initio / PySpark / AWS Glue)Experience Job Summary We are seeking an experienced ETL Data Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and supporting large-scale data integration and ETL solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Ab Initio and modern cloud-based ETL technologies such as PySpark and AWS Glue. The role involves building scalable data pipelines, modernizing legacy ETL processes, and supporting cloud migration initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and maintain large-scale ETL processes and data pipelines. Develop ETL solutions using Ab Initio and cloud-native technologies such as PySpark and AWS Glue. Analyze business requirements, troubleshoot data issues, and recommend effective technical solutions. Support the modernization of legacy ETL applications and migration to cloud-based data platforms. Design, develop, test, deploy, and support ETL/data pipeline components across development and production environments. Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. Ensure data quality, integrity, and adherence to enterprise data governance standards. Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities. Required Skills 5+ years of experience in ETL and data engineering. Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL development. Experience with cloud ETL technologies such as PySpark and AWS Glue. Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases. Experience designing and developing scalable ETL/data pipelines. Knowledge of cloud data platforms and modern data engineering practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Skills Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Redshift, or EMR. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Exposure to data warehouse concepts and cloud migration projects.
