About the role
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Administrator to manage, secure, monitor, and optimize the Power BI environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI Service administration, governance, tenant management, capacity management, and integration with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain the Power BI Service tenant. Configure and manage tenant settings, workspaces, capacities, and gateways. Monitor Power BI performance, usage, and refresh failures. Manage Power BI Premium/Fabric capacities. Configure Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), and data governance policies. Implement backup, disaster recovery, and audit strategies. Manage on-premises data gateways and scheduled refreshes. Collaborate with Azure AD administrators for authentication and access management. Troubleshoot performance issues related to reports, datasets, and capacities. Enforce governance standards and best practices across the Power BI environment. Work closely with BI Developers, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders.
