Advanced Data Science Associate Consultant

As an Advanced Data Science Associate Consultant in the Insights & Analytics at ZS, you will be responsible for: - Developing advanced algorithms that solve problems of large dimensionality in a computationally efficient and statistically effective manner - Executing statistical and data mining techniques on large data sets to identify trends, figures, and other relevant information - Collaborating with clients and other ZS stakeholders to integrate and communicate analysis findings effectively - Contributing to the evaluation of emerging datasets and technologies that may enhance the analytical platform - Owning the development of select assets/accelerators for efficient scaling of capability, focusing on generative AI and deep learning methodologies - Integrating engineering principles into data science workflows to optimize algorithms for performance, scalability, and maintainability - Collaborating with the engineering team to implement and deploy data science solutions into production, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems - Utilizing software engineering best practices for version control, code review, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality, reliable, and reproducible data science workflows Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or master's degree or PhD in Computer Science (or Statistics) from a premier institute, with strong academic performance in analytic and quantitative coursework - 3-6 years of Data Science experience, proficiency in generative AI, deep learning, statistical techniques, and engineering integration for scalable solutions - Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or R - Familiarity with big data/advanced analytics concepts and algorithms (e.g., text mining, social listening, recommender systems, predictive modeling) - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Strong attention to detail and research-focused mindset - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills - High motivation, good work ethic, and maturity - Exposure to Generative AI and its usage to solve problems is a plus - Fluency in English - Client-first mentality - Intense work ethic - Collaborative spirit and problem-solving approach ZS offers a hybrid working model where employees are onsite at clients or ZS offices three days a week, with flexibility to work remotely two days a week.
