About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Actuary & Portfolio Management professional to lead actuarial initiatives and provide critical business insights. This role will be responsible for delivering actuarial analyses, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust risk and financial management across the organization.
The successful candidate will lead a team, oversee actuarial processes, and contribute to risk-based capital modeling, while continuously improving systems, methodologies, and talent capability within the actuarial function
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
Qualified or nearly qualified actuary (FSAI of recognized actuarial body preferred).
Proven experience in actuarial work such as reserving, pricing, capital modeling, or risk management.
Strong analytical, statistical, and modeling skills.
Proficiency in actuarial tools/programming (e.g., Excel, R, Python, SAS, Prophet, etc.).
Solid understanding of risk-based capital frameworks and financial reporting standards.
Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities
Lead and develop the actuarial team, ensuring timely delivery of both routine tasks and more complex analyses with appropriate oversight.
Perform actuarial analyses across reserving, financial reporting, pricing, and quantitative risk management.
Build, maintain, and enhance statistical models; analyze data and interpret results to provide actionable business insights.
Provide actuarial advice to stakeholders, including insights into business performance and financial implications.
Manage actuarial data flow and quality to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of outputs.
Support the development, calibration, and enhancement of risk-based capital (RBC) models.
Ensure compliance with internal actuarial policies and standards, while driving improvements in systems, processes, and methodologies
