Job Description (JD) Process Exhaust Engineer Position Title - Process Exhaust Engineer Location - PAN India Employment Type - Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Process Exhaust Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in process exhaust, industrial ventilation, HVAC, or facility engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, operation, maintenance, and optimization of process exhaust systems to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations. Experience in cleanroom environments, manufacturing facilities, semiconductor plants, laboratories, or industrial processes will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Design, review, and optimize process exhaust and industrial ventilation systems. Perform airflow calculations, system sizing, pressure loss calculations, and equipment selection. Develop duct routing layouts and exhaust system designs in compliance with project requirements. Monitor and maintain process exhaust equipment, including fans, scrubbers, filters, dampers, and exhaust stacks. Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis of exhaust system issues. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and industry standards. Coordinate with HVAC, Mechanical, EHS, Process, and Electrical teams during project execution. Support installation, testing, commissioning, and validation of process exhaust systems. Conduct periodic inspections, performance testing, and system audits. Evaluate opportunities for energy savings and process optimization. Prepare engineering reports, technical specifications, maintenance records, and project documentation. Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed effectively. Assist in project planning, budgeting, vendor management, and contractor supervision. Required Qualifications Diploma or bachelors degree in: HVAC Engineering Mechanical Engineering Building Environment & Energy Engineering Environmental Engineering Or other related engineering disciplines Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in process exhaust systems, industrial ventilation, HVAC engineering, facility management, or manufacturing environments. Experience with exhaust systems in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, laboratory, data center, electronics manufacturing, or industrial facilities is preferred. Experience in system commissioning, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting is highly desirable. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of industrial ventilation and process exhaust system design principles. Understanding of airflow dynamics, duct design, pressure balancing, and contamination control. Knowledge of exhaust equipment such as scrubbers, blowers, fans, filters, dampers, and control systems. Familiarity with cleanroom standards and environmental regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of HVAC and Building Management Systems (BMS). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and technical specifications. Understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality. Preferred Certifications HVAC or Industrial Ventilation Certification. Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Certification. Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or equivalent certification is an advantage. Relevant facility management or engineering certifications.
