We are seeking an experienced Utility Engineer for Pharmaceutical Project Execution . Key Responsibilities: Utility Project Execution Monitor daily progress of installation, erection, testing, and commissioning activities for: Chillers Cooling Towers Air Compressors Hot Water Generators Process Gas Systems LP & MP Steam Systems Utility Piping and Insulation Coordinate hydrotesting, flushing, commissioning, and startup activities. Ensure timely completion of project activities according to schedules. Engineering & Documentation Review P&IDs, layouts, isometrics, and execution drawings. Verify utility routing and future utility provisions during execution. Prepare and review Bills of Materials (BOM). Generate Material Codes and Purchase Requisitions (PRs) as per technical specifications. Perform material quantity take-offs for utility installations. Utility Piping Management Supervise installation of black utility piping networks. Monitor interconnecting utility piping from utility systems to production equipment. Ensure proper installation of valves, fittings, instruments, and support systems. Verify hook-up points and utility connections to equipment skids. Vendor & Contractor Management Plan, monitor, and review contractor manpower deployment. Track productivity and execution progress against planned schedules. Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and service providers. Follow up on material deliveries and equipment dispatch schedules. Cross Functional Coordination Coordinate closely with: Electrical Team Civil Team HVAC Team Production & Validation Teams Consultants and Project Management Teams Resolve site constraints affecting project execution. Material Management Track inventory and material availability. Coordinate material receipt, inspection, loading, unloading, and storage. Ensure availability of materials to avoid project delays. Follow up with procurement and logistics teams for timely delivery. Quality & Compliance Conduct quality checks of incoming materials against approved specifications. Review test certificates and inspection documents. Verify installation quality as per project standards. Measure installed equipment, piping, fittings, and insulation quantities. Cost Control & Audit Support Validate contractor bills and measurements. Support finance and audit teams for invoice verification. Maintain project records and measurement sheets. Required Skills Technical Skills Pharma Utility Projects Black Utilities Chiller Systems Cooling Towers Compressed Air Systems Steam Systems (LP/MP) Hot Water Generation Systems Process Gas Systems Utility Piping Installation Hydrotesting & Commissioning P&ID Interpretation Mechanical Project Execution Material Take-Off (MTO) BOQ/BOM Preparation Desired Candidate Profile Strong exposure to Greenfield and Brownfield Pharma Projects. Proven experience in utility installation and commissioning. Excellent coordination and contractor management skills. Ability to handle multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment. Strong technical understanding of utility systems and piping networks.
