Tech Lead / Software Development Engineer - III

We are hiring for a Tech Lead role with a leading digital lending platform, building scalable financial products that serve millions of customers across India. As a Tech Lead (SDE-III) , you aren't just writing code; you are setting the technical direction for your team and owning outcomes end to end. You will drive architecture and design for critical systems, lead execution across squads, and be the engineer the team turns to for hard technical calls. As a Tech Lead, you will: Partner with PMs, EMs and vertical leaders to own the technical roadmap and build abstractions for the platform/system Own architecture and design for core systems that underpin business and engineering capabilities Be the technical point of accountability for deployments, production incidents and performance issues for your team's services Partner with DevOps and Platform teams to shape infrastructure, scalability patterns and operational best practices Set and continuously raise the bar on engineering practices across design, development, testing and code review Grow the team by mentoring SDE-I / SDE-II engineers, driving interview loops. Skill : Deep experience designing and operating high-performing, scalable and reliable distributed services 6–8 yrs of experience, with 4+ years building and operating high-performance distributed systems in production Strong grasp of service decomposition, API design and modularising monoliths into well-bounded services Proven track record with concurrency, storage and caching at production scale Multiplies the team's productivity by articulating standards, removing blockers and levelling up peers. Hands-on with performance testing, profiling and debugging memory or latency issues in production Technical leadership skills to align engineers across squads and vendor teams toward a shared outcome Location: Bangalore
