About the role
Job Description Developed a cloud-based Loan Management System (LMS) that automates the complete loan lifecycle, including customer onboarding, loan application, credit assessment, approval workflow, loan disbursement, repayment scheduling, collections, and reporting. The platform was built using a microservices architecture to support high transaction volumes, secure financial operations, and seamless integration with third-party financial services. Roles And Responsibilities Developed scalable backend microservices using Node.js and TypeScript for loan origination, approval, disbursement, repayment, and collections. Designed and implemented RESTful APIs following microservices architecture to support high-volume financial transactions. Optimized data access using MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis, improving application performance and reducing response times. Implemented asynchronous event-driven workflows using Kafka/RabbitMQ for notifications, payment processing, and audit logging. Built secure authentication and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) using JWT for customers and internal users. Followed Test-Driven Development (TDD) and conducted code reviews to ensure high code quality and maintainability. Deployed and monitored backend services on AWS, leveraging CI/CD pipelines for reliable and automated releases. Collaborated with product managers, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality backend solutions. Skills And Experience 4+ years of experience in backend development preferably in microservice environment. Strong programming skills in NodeJS, TypeScript. Good Understanding of Relational (MySQL), NoSQL (mongodb) and data stores. Strong problem-solving skills with good understanding of data structures and algorithms. Experience in using queuing infrastructure (Kafka/RBMQ) for scaling backend. Experience with using caches (Redis). Experience in test driven development. Basic knowledge in DevOps (AWS).
