Job Title: Team Lead Java Department: Technology Reporting to: AVP - Technology Location: Mumbai/Pune Salary: 30% Hike on your Current CTC Looking for Immediate Joiners with 30 Days notice Period Job Description: The ideal candidate should have: Extensive experience in developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases spanning multiple platforms and tools. Significant experience in building and operating critical high-scale systems. Strong management and team development skills, including setting roadmaps, delegating tasks, mentoring engineers, and providing feedback. Expertise in growing teams, including interviewing, collaborating with recruiting teams, and onboarding new members. Good understanding of software engineering methodology, with opinions on testing, code quality, and making quality/speed trade-offs. Exceptional technical skills in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles. Ability to lead from the front when necessary.
Candidate Requirements: 8+ years of experience in software development. Strong opinions on testing, code quality, and making quality/speed trade-offs. Knowledge of data structures and architectural principles. Proficiency in at least one programming language and willingness to learn more. Ability to adapt to rapid growth and evolving business environments. Attention to detail in understanding requirements.
Programming Language and Technology Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java 8+ programming and multithreading. Familiarity with design patterns and architectural patterns. Hands-on experience in developing RESTful microservices using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. Experience with message queuing systems like Kafka. Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases such as Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, and Cassandra. Experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes is a plus. Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kibana, MQTT, and IoT is a plus.
Qualifications and Education Details: B.E. or B. Tech in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent.
