About the role
As a highly analytical and technically strong Product Owner, your role will be to drive API strategy and data utilization across platforms. You will focus on enabling seamless data consumption, improving API adoption, and delivering insights-driven product capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Define and own the API strategy, governance, and lifecycle management - Drive API adoption across internal and external stakeholders - Oversee data consumption, usage patterns, and optimization initiatives - Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable API and data solutions - Define data requirements, metrics, and KPIs for product success - Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance monitoring - Work closely with analytics teams to enable reporting and dashboard capabilities - Translate business requirements into data-driven product features and workflows Required Skills & Experience: - Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and data flows - Experience with API governance, versioning, and documentation practices - Hands-on experience with analytics, reporting, and dashboards - Knowledge of data modeling concepts and database structures - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Data, and Business teams - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Nice to Have: - Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) - Working knowledge of SQL or databases - Exposure to data platforms or data engineering concepts Key Competencies: - Data-driven decision-making mindset - Strong product ownership and prioritization skills - Excellent stakeholder management and communication - Ability to simplify complex data problems into actionable solutions Success Metrics: - API adoption and usage growth - Data quality and performance improvements - Timely delivery of analytics and reporting capabilities - Stakeholder satisfaction and product impact As a highly analytical and technically strong Product Owner, your role will be to drive API strategy and data utilization across platforms.
