Opportunity for Salesforce DevOps Lead Contract | Immediate Responsibilities Manage Salesforce releases across all environments, including development, integration, QA, UAT, staging, pre-production, and production.Coordinate deployment windows, release calendars, code freezes, release readiness checkpoints, and approvals.Work closely with Salesforce developers, QA teams, product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to plan and execute releases.Maintain environment alignment, support sandbox refresh planning, and help manage release branching strategy.Create and coordinate Merge Requests in GitLab, including branching, merging, conflict resolution, approvals, and release tagging.Ensure GitLab repositories are organized, traceable, and aligned with the Salesforce deployment strategy.Validate that Merge Requests include the correct metadata, configuration changes, test evidence, and required approvals before promotion.Use Copado to build, validate, promote, and monitor user stories, deployments, and release pipelines.Troubleshoot Copado deployment errors, validation failures, dependency issues, metadata conflicts, test failures, and environment inconsistencies.Support rollback planning, deployment recovery activities, pre-deployment validation, and post-deployment checks.Investigate Salesforce deployment issues related to Apex, triggers, flows, permission sets, profiles, layouts, custom objects, validation rules, and other metadata components. Required Strong understanding of Salesforce platform fundamentals, including metadata, configuration, Apex,Flows, permission sets, profiles, objects, fields, page layouts, and validation rules.Hands-on experience managing Salesforce deployments across multiple environments.Experience using Copado for Salesforce release management and deployments.Experience with GitLab, including branches, commits, Merge Requests, approvals, conflict resolution, and release tagging.Strong troubleshooting skills for Salesforce deployment errors, validation failures, test failures, and environment inconsistencies.Understanding of Salesforce deployment tools and concepts such as change sets, Salesforce CLI, Metadata API, packages, and CI/CD pipelines.Ability to validate deployments and coordinate post-deployment checks. Preferred Qualifications Copado certification or hands-on Copado implementation experience.Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer certification.Knowledge of DevOps governance, audit controls, and production release management.Experience supporting large Salesforce programs with multiple workstreams and parallel releases.
