Senior Web Engineer - Next.js/React.js

As a Senior Web Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and building the entire web experience of a consumer-facing trading app using Next.js and React. Your role will include developing real-time data features, SEO-optimized pages, and internal admin tools. Here is what we are looking for in the ideal candidate: Key Responsibilities: - Architect and build the Next.js web platform from scratch, including project structure, CI/CD, component library, and design system. - Develop real-time, data-intensive interfaces such as live price rendering, interactive charting, and responsive dashboards. - Create SEO-optimized content pages and public-facing discovery surfaces. - Build internal admin and operations tooling, including dashboards, data tables, configuration interfaces, and monitoring views. - Define frontend engineering standards related to component architecture, testing strategy, accessibility, and performance budgets. - Ensure cross-browser compatibility, Core Web Vitals, and responsive design across devices. - Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and promote best practices within the web team. Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of frontend engineering experience with React in production; at least 2 years with Next.js specifically. - Strong skills in TypeScript and experience with SSR, SSG, and incremental static regeneration. - Experience in implementing real-time features using WebSockets in web applications. - Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or other utility-first CSS frameworks. - Previous experience building both consumer-facing and internal admin/dashboard UIs. - Understanding of SEO best practices, including structured data, meta tags, and Core Web Vitals. - Knowledge of CI/CD, CDN deployment, and web performance optimization.
