Location: 100% Remote (South Carolina residency required; proximity to Anderson, South Carolina facilities needed for emergency/disaster recovery)
Contract Duration: 12 months, with possibility of extension
Workload: Maximum of 10 hours per week
Interview Process: 1 round, virtual (video required)
About the Role
We are seeking a part time (10 hours per week) Enterprise Project Manager – Storage Infrastructure to architect, develop, and implement highly specialized IT architecture for mission‑critical systems. This role requires deep expertise in storage infrastructure and system administration, ensuring stability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as Storage Infrastructure Architect for mission‑critical systems.
Perform system health checks across technologies including Kafka, SAMQFS, ZFS, ESXi, Splunk, OpenDuty, and Nagios.
Lead independent analysis, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex web, mainframe, and client/server technologies.
Architect, deploy, and manage systems software, hardware, and related infrastructure.
Provide technical support for operating systems and subsystems.
Design, install, and maintain system software support elements.
Tune systems for optimal performance and track capacity.
Train and advise junior system programmers and serve as a subject matter expert across units.
Required Skills
10+ years of experience with SAMQFS
10+ years of experience with SL8500
10+ years of experience with ACSLS
10+ years of experience with Clemson–USCalifornia DRBS relationship
Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, or Technical field
