About the role
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, particularly within the healthcare domain. This role requires a solid understanding of Insurance claims processing, member and provider data , and EDI 837 submissions, along with technical skills to validate data from SQL server , APIs, and backend processes. As a mid-level role, you will contribute independently while also supporting junior testers and collaborating closely with developers and business analysts in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Contract-to-Hire – Conversion expected in 2026
Immigration: Open EADs, etc.
Location: Remote, but candidates must work on AZ/PST hours
Required Qualifications / Responsibilities : :
7+ years of experience in Manual and Automation testing
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
Perform manual and automated testing of web applications, APIs, and database layers.
Validate healthcare claims workflows including 837 submissions, eligibility, and provider/member data.
Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data in SQL Server.
Collaborate with developers and QA leads to ensure proper test coverage in sprints.
Log, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Contribute to automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Postman for APIs).
Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing as required.
Assist in mentoring junior testers and reviewing their test cases.
