About the role
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium for web and API testing.
Automate end-to-end test scenarios for E-Commerce applications including shopping carts, checkout flows, payment gateways, and order management.
Perform API testing for microservices using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools .
Validate micro services interactions, data consistency, and API contracts in distributed systems.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and implement test automation solutions .
Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, or similar tools .
Develop data-driven, keyword-driven, and BDD-style test scripts using TestNG or Cucumber.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong programming experience in Java for test automation.
Expertise in Selenium WebDriver , TestNG, JUnit, and automation framework development .
Hands-on experience with API automation (REST/JSON/XML) and microservices testing .
Understanding of E-Commerce domain workflows and transaction flows.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies .
Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
