Job Description – Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• • Provide input as required to the planning, requirements definition, and design process

• for new features, with an eye toward testability

• • Build an automated system for the primary application and correcting any errors when

• implementing a solution

• • Write reports and documentation that explain the implantation and value to project

• stakeholders

• • Create, test and monitor automation systems

• • Partner with developers and business owners to triage and create defects.

• • Perform smoke tests to ensure successful releases

• • Write detailed and easy to understand bug reports

• • Provide consistent communication regarding testing status to both the Engineering and

• Business teams

Skills and Competencies/Education

• • Minimum of 5 years of working as a QA automation engineer in Agile working

• environment

• • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience

• • Experience using Java, TestNG, Maven, Appium and Allure frameworks

• • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines are essential to success

• • Ability to clearly document and troubleshoot errors

• • Experience with the Agile methodology and regression testing

• • Proven ability to create and execute a test plan

• • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• • Self-starter who can work independently as well as in team environment

• • Solid understanding of iOS native features
