Senior Associate Quality Engineer:
This person would be responsible for designing automated test scripts, test cases, and supporting overall application compliance. This individual will be responsible for planning, managing, maintaining, coordinating, and executing the test scripts for complex, multi-tier applications in the media measurement domain. The role includes testing solutions that involve large-scale data processing, media metrics validation, and analytics reporting.
Your Impact:
• Implement test plans within current guidelines by analyzing project requirement documents, with a focus on validating media-related metrics such as impressions, reach, frequency, and engagement.
• Review project documentation for all assigned projects to ensure that the project requirements are clearly defined and aligned with media measurement industry standards.
• Work with applications designed/developed with multiple stacks such as Java, Web Services, and data pipelines in the media measurement ecosystem.
• Prepare test plan documents and write test procedures that account for the unique complexities of media analytics platforms, including data accuracy and real-time reporting requirements.
• Design, develop, test, maintain, and execute scripts across different test environments for consistency, including API testing and end-to-end validation of media metrics.
• Execute test cases manually (if needed) based on business requirements, especially for edge cases involving specific media measurement scenarios.
• Apply appropriate technologies to meet the short- and long-term goals of the testing organization, with an emphasis on automation of media measurement processes.
• Work with requirements teams to define test cases and maintain traceability, ensuring seamless integration with media measurement tools and reporting systems.
• Report defects and escalate issues as needed, providing detailed documentation to assist in debugging data inaccuracies or discrepancies in media metrics.
• Work closely with software development teams to reproduce and debug issues related to media measurement workflows, data pipelines, and analytics dashboards.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability through self-directed task management and proactive resolution of testing challenges specific to media measurement use cases.
• Implement automated test scripts within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery of reliable media analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with media measurement standards and client-specific reporting needs.
• Motivated team player with very strong analytical, diagnostic, and debugging skills tailored to data-heavy environments.
• Good oral communication and writing skills to document findings, test results, and process improvements effectively.
Your Skills & Experience:
• 4-6+ years of experience in QE automation, with hands-on experience in the media measurement domain
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) and frameworks for API testing (e.g., REST Assured or Postman).
• Proven expertise in validating media-related metrics such as impressions, reach, and engagement, as well as end-to-end testing of media measurement platforms.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working in agile/iterative SDLC environments.
• Familiarity with media analytics workflows, data pipelines, and tools like Nielsen, Comscore, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo.
• Understanding SAFe Agile framework is a plus.
• Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment, with strong collaboration skills to work across development, data, and product teams.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment, especially in the context of media analytics and real-time data validation.
• Adheres to development standards, software development lifecycle processes, and media measurement compliance requirements.
• Constantly seeks ways to improve processes for increased agility, scalability, and quality in media measurement testing.
• Understanding of Data and creating and executing SQL
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required
