About the role
Industries to target: Electronics/Precision Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Automotive (Transportation), Consumer Electronics, Medical Device, Appliance, Power/Energy, DoD, and Oil & Gas
Responsibilities
-
Support product quality, process improvement, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
-
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure products meet customer requirements while driving continuous improvement across operations.
-
Hands-on quality professional who enjoys solving technical problems, improving processes, and working in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Support the Quality Management System (QMS) including documentation, procedures, and process improvements
-
Review engineering drawings, work orders, and supplier documentation to ensure quality and compliance requirements are met
-
Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities to evaluate and disposition non-conforming materials
-
Lead and support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
-
Apply quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, Fishbone, and 5-Why analysis
-
Support internal and external quality audits and assist with audit preparation and follow-up actions
-
Develop inspection methods, sampling plans, and quality metrics to monitor product and process performance
-
Perform statistical analysis and process capability evaluations to improve manufacturing processes
-
Work with cross-functional teams on process improvement and Lean initiatives
-
Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring quality controls and standards are established
-
Participate in supplier quality and performance evaluations
-
Maintain and support calibration and measurement systems for inspection and test equipment
-
It would be very beneficial if the candidate has knowledge with ERP systems, SMT, PCBA , IPC610, as well as some electronic knowledge
Qualifications (MUST)
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of quality engineering or quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
-
Experience with root cause analysis and structured problem solving
-
Familiarity with ISO-based Quality Management Systems
-
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Have you led a team of quality engineers/Technicians in your previous roles?

Do you have experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)?

Have you developed and implemented quality control plans?
-
Do you have experience with supplier quality management?

Have you performed internal audits for quality management systems?
-
Are you familiar with regulatory compliance requirements for manufacturing?
-
Do you have experience with Lean manufacturing principles?
