Release & Environments Manager

Responsibilities

• Establish clear processes for environment provisioning, configuration, and decommissioning.

• Maintain a centralized repository of environmental documentation, detailing configurations, dependencies, and access rights.

• Work with infrastructure and development teams.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for environment-related issues.

• Collaborate with development, QA, operations, and security teams to ensure a smooth and efficient software delivery pipeline.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases across various environments, including Dev, QA, pre-production and production.

• Manage the release calendar, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business priorities.

• Implement and maintain robust rollback procedures for each environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in release management, environment management, or a similar role.

• Experience with Agile methodologies & Agile project management tools.

• Experience working with JIRA and Confluence.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and DevOps principles.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with Strong leadership and coaching abilities.

• Ability to manage complex dependencies and prioritize work.
