About the role
SAP Data Disposition / Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) program
The project focuses on validating and enabling enterprise-scale data retention, archiving, legal hold, and defensible data disposition capabilities across SAP HCM systems.
The work includes configuring SAP ILM, integrating archive repositories, handling custom SAP objects, validating downstream impacts, and ensuring compliance, auditability, and traceability of retention and deletion decisions.
Strong emphasis on communication style, attitude, and professionalism.
SAP QA/Test Engineer
Rate: Up to $60/hr
Duration: ~12 weeks
100% Remote
Overview
Validates that data archiving and deletion processes work correctly, ensures data integrity, and produces audit-ready evidence.
Key Responsibilities
Execute test cases for archiving and deletion scenarios
Validate retention rules are properly enforced
Perform data reconciliation between SAP and archive systems
Identify defects and support resolution
Generate documentation and audit evidence
Required Skills
Experience with application and integration testing
Heavy SAP testing experience required
Excellent data validation and reconciliation skills
Experience with testing tools (e.g., Jira, etc.)
Hands-on experience with audit and compliance validation
Communication & Personality Requirements (Critical)
Strong American English communication for reporting defects and test results clearly
Highly detail-oriented and methodical
Positive, structured, and disciplined approach to testing
Able to clearly document findings for audit and compliance teams
Strong accountability and ownership mindset
