Senior QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support continuous testing initiatives
Identify, prioritize, and execute critical test scenarios with structured execution plans
Create and maintain clear documentation for automated testing processes and frameworks
Perform and support manual testing activities including System Testing, Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects, analyze root causes, and improve overall product quality
Utilize test management and defect tracking tools to ensure testing visibility, traceability, and reporting
Required Qualifications
8+ years of overall QA experience with the ability to work independently on complex initiatives
Strong analytical skills with sound judgment in planning and executing testing strategies
Proven experience designing and developing automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or similar automation tools
Extensive experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Octane
Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail
Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative and flexible approach to testing challenges
Must currently reside in the Austin, TX metropolitan area
Preferred Experience
8+ years of manual testing experience (System Testing, SIT, UAT)
8+ years of experience writing test plans, test cases, and detailed QA documentation
