In UI/UX design, "low-fi" and "hi-fi" wireframes refer to the level of detail and v isual fidelity in a design representation, with "low-fi" being a basic, simple sketch-like layout focusing on core functionality and "hi-fi" being a highly detailed, polished version that closely resembles the final product, including colors, fonts, and interactive elements; essentially, low-fi is used for early concept exploration while hi-fi is used for near-final design presentation and user testing.
