About the role
Hi, I hope this email finds you well.
We are currently seeking a skilled UI/UX Developer for a 6-month contract position with a financial services client in Washington D.C. This is a hybrid role requiring some onsite presence ( no relocation candidates).
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
At least five years of experience working in UI/UX development.
A four-year degree in a related field (HCI, computer science, visual design) is desired, but equivalent professional experience will be considered.
A strong understanding of key web design principles.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
Proven experience working with mobile-first CSS and creating cross-browser, cross-platform code.
Prior experience working with a .NET platform, ideally Sitecore.
An understanding of server-side CSS.
Required experience exporting and manipulating graphics from the Adobe suite. Experience with generating wireframes and prototypes, particularly using Axure, is a plus.
Familiarity with either Azure DevOps or JIRA for coordinating code commitments for deployment. Experience with both systems is highly desirable.
Experience working with GitHub.
GC/ USC Needed
The contract duration is 6 months, and the pay rate is up to $60 per hour on a C2C basis -maximum.
