As a Network Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure smooth operations. - Configuring and troubleshooting switching and routing protocols to facilitate efficient data flow. - Ensuring network security and optimizing performance to meet business requirements. - Performing IOS upgrades/downgrades and maintaining device firmware for enhanced functionality. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for network-related projects to drive innovation and efficiency. Preferred qualifications for this role include relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent. Additionally, practical knowledge in the following areas is desirable: - Switching (VTP, VLAN, STP, EtherChannel, SPAN, Port Security) - Routing (Static, BGP, OSPF), FHRP (HSRP, VRRP) - QoS, IOS upgrade/downgrade Optional skills in Multicast Routing and Data Center Infrastructure would be beneficial for this position.
