Integration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Engineer with deep expertise in Revenue Cycle Management technologies, EDI/API integrations, and US healthcare interoperability standards. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience integrating with clearinghouses, practice management systems, and HL7-based systems, as well as familiarity with web scraping using Puppeteer.js. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between healthcare systems and our in-house data engine, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and efficiency across our products and client platforms. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain integrations between platforms, clearinghouses, PM systems, and other healthcare applications. Implement and support EDI transactions (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277) and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards. Build and manage API integrations with 3rd party vendors, EMRs, and data platforms. Work with HL7 interfaces for real-time and batch data exchange. Develop automation and data extraction workflows using Puppeteer.js or similar headless browser frameworks. Collaborate closely with Data Science, technology and automation teams to deploy and monitor integrations on GCP PaaS environments. Troubleshoot and optimize integrations for performance, reliability, and scalability. Maintain technical documentation and support internal teams with integration insights. Required Qualifications 4 5 years of experience in integration engineering with focus on US Healthcare / RCM domain. Proven experience with EDI X12 transactions, clearinghouse integrations, and healthcare data workflows. Strong understanding of HL7 and healthcare interoperability standards. Experience working with APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration frameworks. Proficiency in Node.js / Puppeteer.js for automation and web scraping. Solid understanding of NoSQL databases and data transformation pipelines. Excellent problem solving and debugging skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with PHP (Laravel) applications. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly App Engine, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub. Experience integrating Practice Management Systems, EMRs, or Billing systems. Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security standards.
