About the role
HW Application Engineer Stuttgart, Germany View Job overview: Responsibilities: Design and Development of Hardware electronic circuits for the Low Volt (LV) Battery management System (BMS). Perform design calculations, simulations and WCCA. Conduct technical design reviews (TDR), schematic reviews and PCB layout reviews. Define test plans and execution of tests as per the design requirements. Development of Hardware requirement specification (HWRS) in DNG. Root cause and failure analysis of the internal, customer and field returned BMS failures. Support FMEA, FMECA, FMEDA, DFMEA, DRBFM , DFA and DFM. Interface with Internal cross functional teams to support on Hardware topics. Interface with customer for review and clarification of the Hardware topics. Identification of VAVE ideas to reduce cost. Position conditions: Education & Experience: Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronics, automotive, HW Engineering or similar 3+ years of automotive electrical system or HW experience (HW development experience in automotive) OEM/Tier 1 supplier experience as a plus Experience with Electric Vehicles and/or battery management systems as a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong written and oral communication skills in English language, German is a plus Strong interpersonal skills Experience working independently, proactively and in a collaborative environment Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment Send Resume to: career-germany@a123systems.com
