Technical Architect Product Development

You will be responsible for leading a talented team of engineers at Labs, the Product Development division of Absolutdata, with complete technical ownership of one or more products. You will collaborate in a start-up like environment, challenging the status quo, learning new skills, trying out new ideas, and innovating constantly. The team is fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly scaling. Key Responsibilities: - Developing scalable & high availability applications - Software development using Agile methodology - Proficiency in Java/J2EE & Spring - Working with REST API (JAX-RS/Spring) - Utilizing Databases (RDBMS/NoSQL) - Experience with any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Familiarity with at least one from NoSQL/Big Data/DevOps - Redis, MongoDB, Neo4j, Elastic Search, Cassandra, HBase, Spark, Kafka, Terraform, Docker, Ansible, Grafana - Troubleshooting issues & diagnosing performance bottlenecks - Understanding of Architecture & Design - Institutionalizing best practices for full software development life cycle - Mentoring Senior Engineers Qualifications Required: - Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Sciences or related field - 8+ years of IT experience - Passionate about technology & coding - Proven record of delivering highly operable and maintainable software products on time - Good understanding of coding standards, code reviews, source control management, test driven development, build processes, testing, and operations - Exposure to Product Development is preferred - Experience leading large-scale projects or products as Tech lead or architect - Relevant Certification in Scrum/J2EE/AWS/GCP/Azure is a plus This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are entrepreneurial, ambitious, and interested in the fast-growing field of analytics, big data engineering, and data visualization for empowering business decisions.
