Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong knowledge of enterprise software development principles, object-oriented design, and design patterns. (6+ years of experience) Knowledge of Java enterprise application development, including Spring Framework/Spring Boot and RESTful services. Knowledge of Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#, . NET 8/10+, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and MVC. Knowledge of modern web application architecture and client/server development. Knowledge of application security principles, including authentication, authorization, encryption, secure coding practices, and OWASP Knowledge of payment processing integrations and secure handling of sensitive financial data. Knowledge of relational database design, SQL development, and performance optimization. Knowledge of cloud-based application deployment and modernization strategies (preferably Microsoft Azure). Knowledge of source control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices. Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, or Claude Code. Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and software testing practices. Design and develop secure REST APIs and web services. Implement security enhancements including authentication, authorization, input validation, encryption, logging, and vulnerability remediation. Produce technical documentation and implementation plans. Maintain high-quality coding standards and attention to detail. Work in a security-conscious environment handling public-facing applications.

Desirable Qualifications

Candidates possessing one or more of the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience integrating payment gateways or payment processing applications. Familiarity with PCI DSS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or OWASP Application Security Verification Standard (ASVS). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary development team.
