Senior Network & Security Engineer

As a Senior Network & Security Engineer, your role will involve providing L3/L4 support for complex network and security incidents. You will be responsible for leading major incident management (MIM) and ensuring timely resolution. Additionally, you will perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing enterprise network architectures - Deploying and managing SD-WAN solutions such as Fortinet and Meraki - Configuring high availability (HA), redundancy, and failover mechanisms - Supporting network transformation and modernization initiatives Furthermore, you will be managing firewall rule lifecycle, configuring and maintaining IPS/IDS policies, NAT rules, and threat protection policies. Ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards will also be a crucial part of your role. In terms of VPN & Connectivity, you will configure and troubleshoot Site-to-Site VPN (IPSec) and Remote Access VPN / SSL VPN. Optimizing connectivity across global locations will be essential. For Wireless & Campus Networks, you will be supporting Cisco and Meraki wireless solutions and performing wireless optimization, RF tuning, and troubleshooting. Your role will also involve handling change management activities, maintaining technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams, and ensuring adherence to ITIL processes. Additionally, you will mentor and guide L1/L2 engineers and act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for network/security escalations. Key Technical Skills required for this role include expertise in Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, FortiAP), Cisco (L2/L3 Switching, Routing protocols, Wireless, QoS), and Meraki (MX, MS, MR, Dashboard management). Core competencies such as SD WAN Architecture & Deployment, Firewall & Security Policy Design, IPS/IDS, NAT, VPN, Network Performance Optimization, and Incident & Problem Management are crucial. Preferred Certifications for this role include Fortinet: NSE 5 / NSE 6 / NSE 7, Cisco: CCNP / CCIE, and Meraki: CMNA / CMNO.
