Accessibility Testing

Project and Objectives Information management technology (IMT) refers to the processes, systems, hardware, and software a company uses to conduct its day-to-day operations. The Bank is in need of fulfilment of an adequate and sufficient team to meet our needs and ensure Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA compliance. 2 main impacts: Ensure global website accessibility compliance, sometimes referred to as ADA (Americans with Disability Act) website compliance, for our public domains to certain industry accepted standards (WCAG 2.1, Level AA). If we do not maintain certain standards of website accessibility compliance, the Bank could be subject to legal claims by visitors to the site who argue that they are not able to fully utilize the capabilities of the site due to a failure of the site to meet those standards. These legal claims can create both monetary and reputational harm to the Bank. Requirements/Scope: The selected vendor will provide assistance to the Bank to enhance its overall website accessibility levels by using various tools to identify and assess potential opportunities for improvement on the Banks various public facing domains (e.g., www.TheBank.com ). Supplier will be expected to have expertise in the tools, e.g., NVDA, WAVE, CCA, used to identify opportunities for improvement related to website accessibility and to be able to communicate those items effectively to the Bank teams.
