Role Overview: Acron Aviation is looking for a Senior Associate, Systems Engineer with a focus on Aircraft Specific Database (ASDB) components within the Surveillance product line. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development of ASDB components, defining interface requirements, and ensuring system-level integration of surveillance products into aircraft environments. Key Responsibilities: - Support the development of Aircraft Specific Database (ASDB) components throughout the system lifecycle - Identify integration impacts at the aircraft level, including equipage, wiring, and data interfaces - Define ASDB interface requirements and system behaviors - Develop interface data structures to facilitate system integration - Write and maintain system documentation, including SRS and SRD artifacts - Support requirements traceability and change management - Develop and execute test procedures, test cases, and validation scripts - Assist with system integration activities and issue resolution - Collaborate with systems, software, and integration teams - Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems engineering processes Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline - Experience in supporting systems engineering activities such as requirements definition or system integration - Ability to develop structured documentation (SRS, SRD) - Understanding of interfaces, data structures, and system integration concepts - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience using automation and AI tools to streamline workflows - Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to evaluate processes and implement more effective ways of working Additional Company Details: Acron Aviation may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the hiring process to review applications, analyze resumes, and assess responses.
