Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

About the internship: We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) Intern who can work at the intersection of technology, customers, and business problems. As an FDE Intern, you will help understand real-world problems, identify suitable technical solutions, work with APIs and integrations, and support the deployment of AI-powered solutions. The role requires both technical curiosity and strong communication skills. Domain expertise is not required. We value fast learners who can understand unfamiliar problems, communicate clearly, and figure things out. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Understand client requirements and translate business challenges into technical problem statements. 2. Assist in identifying and implementing suitable AI and technology-based solutions. 3. Work with APIs, integrations, and existing software systems. 4. Diagnose technical issues and collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve them. 5. Conduct research to understand client workflows, operational challenges, and potential automation opportunities. 6. Support the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions. 7. Communicate technical concepts and proposed solutions to clients and internal stakeholders. 8. Assist in evaluating the potential business impact and ROI of recommended solutions. 9. Participate in product demonstrations, solution walkthroughs, and client discussions. 10. Gather feedback from users and customers and communicate insights to product and engineering teams. 11. Document requirements, technical findings, solutions, and implementation processes. Ideal Candidate You don't need to be an expert in a specific industry.
