Generative AI Application Engineer

About the internship: We are seeking a highly motivated Generative AI Application Engineer Intern who is interested in building practical applications using modern AI technologies. In this role, you will work on applications powered by Large Language Models, AI APIs, prompt-based workflows, and intelligent automation systems. The role is focused on applying generative AI to solve practical product and business problems rather than purely theoretical research. You will get an opportunity to experiment with different AI models, build prototypes, evaluate outputs, and collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into applications. This internship is suitable for candidates who are curious about how modern AI applications are built and who enjoy experimenting, testing ideas, and learning rapidly. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Assist in developing applications and features powered by Large Language Models and generative AI technologies. 2. Experiment with different AI models, APIs, prompts, and configurations for specific use cases. 3. Design and improve prompts to achieve more accurate, relevant, and consistent AI-generated outputs. 4. Build prototypes that demonstrate how generative AI can be applied to real-world business and product workflows. 5. Assist in developing AI-powered conversational and task-oriented workflows. 6. Explore AI agents and tool-using systems that can perform multi-step tasks with limited manual intervention. 7. Create test cases and scenarios to evaluate the performance and reliability of AI-powered applications. 8. Analyze model outputs and identify issues such as inaccurate responses, inconsistencies, or unexpected behavior. 9. Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate generative AI capabilities into existing applications. 10. Research new developments in generative AI, LLMs, agentic systems, and AI application development. 11. Document experiments, implementation approaches, test results, and learnings from different AI solutions. 12. Participate in technical discussions and contribute ideas for improving AI-powered product experiences.
