About the role
To execute and support commissioning activities of Coal Handling Plant (CHP) systems, ensuring timely completion, adherence to safety standards, and smooth transition of systems to operations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

Commissioning Execution
Execute commissioning activities of CHP systems including conveyors, crushers, feeders, stackers, reclaimers, and auxiliaries.
Perform pre-commissioning checks such as inspection, alignment, lubrication, and readiness verification.
Support trial runs, system start-ups, and performance testing of CHP equipment.
Ensure commissioning activities are completed as per defined timelines and project schedules.
Testing & System Validation
Conduct functional checks, loop testing, and validation of mechanical and electrical systems.
Coordinate with Electrical and C&I teams for interlock verification and automation logic testing.
Identify and resolve issues during commissioning and stabilization phases.
Coordination & Support
Work closely with EPC contractors, OEMs, and internal teams during commissioning activities.
Assist senior team members in execution planning and issue resolution.
Support operations team during handover and stabilization period.
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to all safety procedures and ensure compliance with HSE standards at site.
Participate in safety audits, inspections, and toolbox talks.
Identify risks and take preventive actions during commissioning activities.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain commissioning checklists, test reports, and activity records.
Provide regular progress updates and highlight key risks/issues to reporting manager.
Ensure proper documentation for system handover to operations team.
