About the role
Role Overview: You will be responsible for implementing, managing, monitoring, and optimizing endpoint security controls to protect organizational assets from cyber threats and data leakage. As a skilled Security Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of the organization's endpoints. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy, configure, and manage Endpoint Security solutions including EDR and Endpoint DLP. - Ensure successful rollout, policy configuration, and compliance of security agents across enterprise endpoints. - Monitor security alerts and investigate endpoint and data loss incidents. - Perform threat hunting, root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation activities. - Create, fine-tune, and optimize detection and DLP policies to minimize false positives. - Analyze endpoint logs, alerts, and DLP events to identify suspicious activities or data exfiltration attempts. - Implement and manage data protection controls for email, web, USB, cloud, and file transfers. - Support incident response activities in coordination with SOC and IT teams. - Work with business stakeholders to define and enforce data classification and protection policies. - Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements. - Provide periodic reporting, dashboards, and security posture updates to management. - Support patch management, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening initiatives. - Understanding of Secure Web Gateway / Proxy solutions. - Understanding of perimeter security technologies such as Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point), IDS/IPS, and VPN solutions. Qualification Required: - 3+ years of hands-on experience in Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. - Knowledge and experience in deploying, configuring, and managing security controls. - Strong understanding of security incident response, threat hunting, and root cause analysis. - Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams. - Relevant certifications in cybersecurity would be a plus.
