Lead Dynamics 365 Developer (want Jr. options as well)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Lead Dynamics 365 Developer with 7-10 years of experience to design and develop advanced, large-scale solutions that extend the core functionality of Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role demands exceptional technical expertise, leadership in managing both onshore and offshore teams, and a focus on delivering tailored, scalable, and maintainable solutions for complex client needs. The Lead Developer is responsible for setting the development standard, reviewing and approving code, and working closely with project leadership to ensure successful delivery. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Solution Design and Development • Architect, design, and implement complex extensions, customizations, and integrations within the Dynamics 365 platform. • Leverage tools such as Power Platform, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and APIs to build scalable, high-performance solutions. • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables. • Develop reusable components, frameworks, and best practices to optimize future development efforts. Team Leadership and Code Management • Set development standards, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code. • Lead and manage a geographically distributed development team, including offshore resources, ensuring clear communication and collaboration. • Review and approve code, ensuring adherence to best practices, security standards, and project requirements. • Mentor and guide team members, fostering technical growth and a culture of excellence. • Establish and enforce processes for code reviews, deployments, and technical documentation. Collaboration with Project Leadership • Partner with project managers, solution architects, and functional leads to align technical execution with project goals. • Provide technical expertise and recommendations during project planning and execution phases. • Ensure development milestones are met, identifying and resolving technical risks or blockers. • Act as a bridge between technical teams and project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment. Offshore Team Management • Coordinate tasks and priorities for offshore development teams, ensuring alignment with project schedules and objectives. • Foster a cohesive working relationship between onshore and offshore teams, ensuring smooth handoffs and consistent delivery standards. • Monitor offshore team performance, providing guidance and ensuring accountability for deliverables. Continuous Improvement and Innovation • Identify and incorporate lessons learned from past projects to continuously improve development processes and methodologies. • Stay updated with the latest Dynamics 365 features, tools, and best practices, introducing innovative approaches to solution design. • Advocate for the adoption of emerging technologies and frameworks that align with business and project goals. ________________________________________ Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 7-10 years of experience in Dynamics 365 development, with a focus on extending functionality and building complex solutions. • Advanced proficiency in Dynamics 365 customization using X++, C#, JavaScript, and Azure services. • Proven experience managing and mentoring development teams, including offshore resources. • Strong knowledge of Power Platform, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and API integrations. • Demonstrated ability to set and enforce development standards, including code quality and security. • Experience with Agile development methodologies and Azure DevOps. • Microsoft certifications such as Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert, Power Platform Developer Associate, or Azure Developer Associate are highly desirable. ________________________________________ Skills and Competencies: Technical Mastery • Deep expertise in extending Dynamics 365 functionality and building tailored solutions. • Strong proficiency in integrating Dynamics 365 with other systems using Azure services. • Advanced skills in performance optimization, debugging, and scalable system design.
