About the role
Sr. Developer (Sr. Consultant) -NoSQL/JavaScript Developer We are looking for a Sr. Developer (Sr. Consultant) to join our growing team. A Sr. Developer will leverage their business and technical knowledge to develop complex solutions using data intensive code, while also working with business and technical teams to understand business strategy, support, and drive solutions development. Design, develop, and implement advanced features using pre-approved programming languages that meet or exceed the needs of the Client. Participate in all Scrum/Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Daily Stand Ups, etc. Ability to organize and lead business requirements gathering sessions and translate those requirements into technical specifications Understanding of QA testing processes in a data warehouse environment Ability to manage and lead team directives toward established goals Supervisory Responsibilities: None Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or computer science related field preferred, but not necessary. 5+ years of progressive experience in JavaScript-based technologies 3+ years of experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, MarkLogic, Neo4j, Apache CoucheDB, Cassandra, etc.) 3+ years’ experience in data analytics on any data warehouse (Oracle, SQL, Google Cloud, AWS, etc.) 2+ years in DevOps practices including CI/CD, configuration management, and cloud computing. 1+ years consulting experience or experience in a business facing role. Healthcare, Retail or Banking experience a plus Experience mentoring and/or leading people is a plus Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent Communication skills. Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service skills. Excellent Organizational skills. Work Environment: Hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday. Specific business hours are dependent on client operating hours. This role allows for flexibility to work from home several days per week, dependent on client approval. Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, library stacks, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer. The person in this position frequently communicates with clients and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
