Job Purpose:
Ensure BOP inspection at receipt stage & contribute in achievement of quality objectives set by company.
Principal Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities :
- Receipt Quality
· Ensure inspection of BOP parts against inspection standard.
· Ensure rejection, verification and booking of BOP.
· Provide updates to section head for observed quality abnormality during inspection and proceed as per guidelines.
· Maintain the inspection records properly.
· Collect all data and provide support to section heads for consolidation of monthly supplier quality MIS report and support preparation of PPT for management for monthly management review.
- Annual Testing
· Dispatch samples for material testing as per annual material testing plan.
· Do child parts layout inspection as per annual layout inspection plan.
· Do salt spray testing as per annual testing plan.
- Line Quality
· Verify the line rejection parts against quality standard to confirm no line rejection is due to poor input part quality.
· Meet COPQ achievement as per set Annual Targets.
· Meet shop floor inventory targets achievement as per set annual targets.
- Continuous Improvement
· Participate in QM pillar in plant TPM structure, for plant manufacturing excellence journey.
· Contribute in the value addition for company annual VIP program by initiating manufacturing cost saving projects.
· Coordinate with cross functional team members at plant for continual process improvements to improve the product quality.
- Quality Management System
· Maintain all records and documents as per plant quality management system.
· Participate for establishment of safety management system OHSAS 18001 & environment management system ISO 14001, along with plant HR and maint. function.
· Participate in quality month celebration in plant in line with business excellence team driven activity plan.
