About the role
As a Team Lead, Engineering, Mechanical Validation Lab at AGCO, you will play a crucial role in addressing the world's most pressing challenges by contributing to the solutions for feeding the growing population and slowing climate change. With over 15 years of engineering experience, you will lead a technical team in the Mechanical Validation Lab, focusing on structural performance evaluation, fatigue testing, NVH analysis, and hydraulic systems validation. Key Responsibilities: - Lead initiatives to enhance lab efficiency, automation, accuracy, and equipment utilization. - Introduce new technologies, sensors, data acquisition tools, and testing methodologies to strengthen validation capability. - Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety norms, calibration guidelines, and audit requirements. - Maintain accurate test records, track project statuses, and facilitate transparent communication between stakeholders. - Responsible for daily test operations, guiding team members, ensuring accurate and timely completion of work. - Assign tasks, monitor performance, provide technical direction, and support high-quality outcomes. - Communicate with management and cross-functional teams, resolve operational or technical issues, and ensure compliance with organizational standards. - Support employee development through coaching, performance feedback, and skill-building opportunities. - Foster a disciplined, collaborative, and productive work environment. - Provide hydraulic systems validation and fatigue expertise to ensure program objectives are met within established schedules and budgets. - Understand CAE requirements and provide support for Test-CAE correlation. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Master's in Engineering preferred) with 15+ years of engineering experience. - Extensive experience in Mechanical & Mechatronics testing, including fatigue, NVH, ROPS/FOPS, hydraulic testing, compliance & homologation, rig testing with stress/strain data acquisition, accelerometer & load transducer. - Proficiency in advanced Office & Project Management tools. - Experience in material testing, composition, and test methodologies. - Good experience in manufacturing processes.
